When reality hits you with the force of a freight train
It leaves you numb, unable to feel pain
Dreams and real life,
Are like two black holes,
Colliding
At light speed
I feel no empathy, I feel nothing
The only thing that kept me going,
Were broken dreams I can no longer perceive
It's hard to fathom the brunt of the hit
Before you blink, you watch with eyes wide open
Unable to think,
Hiding behind a mask of lies;
A quiet facade, a barricade for my inner turmoil.
The fear and despair, the shock that makes you run
Is this my reality, unable to face anyone.
I've been dehumanized by society,

Clarity devoid of emotion
Happiness, just a distant vision
